Aged Travellers
Firstly we walked to the market again but this time a little earlier, the fish market was busier but not much. After all this effort sustainence was needed so went for mid morning tea. Feeling better we walked to the Santa Nazia municipal gardens. These were only 800yds away but straight uphill so not easy. Fortunately there were plenty of seats to rest on. The gardens were not large but we're well designed and had been built on the site of an old sugar cane factory and some of the original machines had been left to act as sculptures. From here we headed back, much easier going downhill, to the hotel for an afternoons rest before going out for our evening meal, lamb chops being the food of the day. Another day of mixed weather, very warm in the sun but much cooler when clouds returned.
