Up early again this morning. Went to the super pit mine lookout as the sun rose, great to see it in the dark and in daylight. The gold mine is so big and is even bigger below the ground, unbelievably it's so close to the town. On our departure check this morning at 5.45am WA time, we noticed one of the van tyres was a little flat. Stayed last night at the Nullabour Road House Caravan Park. Started crossing the Nullabour yesterday. We're very surprised to find the first section to be very hilly, not big climbers, but many rolling ones. Wind was reasonably strong, sometimes head on, others from the side.
