Hoi An was our next stop and this was alot like Luang Probang, very geared towards tourists. Went out in the evening and was told i looked Danish..?
Ben a friend hired a moped the next day and we went round the Island on this, went to the beach but after a while it started to rain we held on for a bit - see if it would blow over. Felt like I was in Wales!!!
Went to a tailors today and got two linen shirts, they saleswoman was nice so I decided to definitly get these. As she was not the hassling kind but she had a laugh with you while you were choosing the style, colour that you wanted... Then a few of us hired some bikes again and went to the beach, I went into the sea. The waves were pretty good. We booked in to go to a lovely restraunt called Mango.
Flying down to Saigon today, otherwise known as Ho Chi Minh City. We went to marble mountain which had some huge pagoda's (like temples yet tall and only preach the Buddha). It was so humid down in Saigon, when i got there i chilled out then we went on a cyclo tour of the city. I thought i had lost my wallet luckily it was back at the hotel!!! Had some Beef Quessima or however you spell it. It looked more like a cheese pancake when it came out to me, but it wasnt too bad. Then went out as was Ciara (a 28yr old policewoman from Manchesters Bday).
Stayed up late to watch Arsenal outclass AC Milan. Was so happy had to control myself though as was 5.00am my time by the time it had finished. Went to the Cuchi Tunnels today where the Vietnemese had hid from the Americans and beaten them during the war. Was great to go through the tunnels, as were very small and was feeling very claustrophobic but was fine. This really gave you an insight to how they lived and worked during the war.
Public Bus to Phnom Penh, got through the border and was into CAMBODIA.
