So much has happened since the last time I wrote a blog about Brunei! I had an amazing summer holiday! I went to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok and Hong Kong with Terrie and then spent a lovely 4 weeks at home with my family and all my other friends. But now I am back in Brunei for my second year of teaching swimming in an International school.

First of all the first week back of term and I was away in Kota kinabalu on a training course. Training to become a Bronze medallion instructor and also be able to train the rescue test for teacher's award! This was a great week; however I was a little worried about being in Malaysia for a week on my own. But as it turns out I am quite good at travelling around on my own! It helped that the course tutor was staying in my hotel so we went out for dinner every evening and even managed a small trip to Sapi Island on the last day, although the sun had gone in and didn't really give Andy the best of impressions of the island!

Anyway we are 5 weeks in to term now and it's all going well so far! I am still enjoying teaching the children and can even remember some of their names!! Although some are not so familiar! But when there is nearly 2000 kids to teach you can't blame me for forgetting some!!!

Two weeks today and the lovely Tracey Ashworth will be here to visit me! I am sooo excited and I can't wait to show her around and also have a short trip to Singapore to see the sights once again! Breakfast with the wild life and universal studios here we come! I loved Singapore in the summer and I am hoping my feelings haven't changed about the country!
