We flew from Rome to Frankfurt and then onto our first Baltic State Capital of Vilinaus the capital of Lithuania.

A beautiful town with a large old town area which was fascinating and most evident was the reconstruction after the removal of the communist regime.

The Neirus River, some 300 km long flows through the capital and with very well planned landscaping is not only a feature but is well used by the locals.
