When we arrived, we walked in to a lovely and cold hotel after being in a boiling hot car. We checked in and when we were waiting the lady let us have a cookie they were so yummy, I heard from mum every 1 second. We took the lift to our room, when we walked in Maia went " yey we have a balcony". The rooms were lovely. We went to the front desk and asked what should we do? They gave us a key to get in to this swimming pool. When we got to the pool, we had to take a swimming test. We had to jump in swim to the end with no goggles. I dived and didn't realise the big sign saying no diving. Silly me. Anyway when we both passed we went to the pool. The pool had a slide and mushroom that sprayed water. Maia and I played for hours and hours and when the clouds turned dark we got out and went to find somewhere to eat. We stopped of at the meat house thinking we were getting some American burgers and fries. We were mistaken but the man told us a nice place to eat called... MAMMA DIPS!
When we were driving there, it was pouring down with rain it was so bad that as we walked to the restaurant we looked like we had been in the shower with our clothes on. But all was payed off, because the food was delicious. mummy had chicken casserole and greens and I had the same Maia had her usual but it was southern fried chicken . Daddy had fried chicken and we had pecan pie all made by mama!! Mummy bought a cookbook so we can make some of the food. The houses in north Carolina are really nice. Maia thought she was in Sylvanian family land as all the houses looked like maia's dolls house.
Then we had a nice sleep.
