WOW!!! We finally made it to Santorini!!!

Well after a 50+ hr trip we finally made it from Bari to Santorini. We awoke at 4am to get to the airport for our flight to Athens, only to find out that the company we were flying with lost their license to fly..... not happy!! So we made the hour journey back to the port, to wait til 9am to find out when we could get a ferry, we could get a 15hr ferry leaving at 8pm that night, Cool! So after a bit of a fun night on the ferry, making friends with yet more aussies, it gets annoying yet it's still cool. We finally arrive in Patras, a 3hr bus trip to Piraeus, then anothe 6hr wait til our next 18hr ferry left at midnight!!! Gotta love these ferries, so another night sleeping on a really uncomfortable floor or bench when we're lucky, though they're only slightly more comfy. We then ended up in SANTORINI!!!!!!

So we got off the ferry, caught a bus to the hostel, changed into our swimmers, went swimming at the black sand beach!!!! Discovered that most of the bars have 3euro coctails!! Then we made it back to the hostel had a much needed shower, even I'll admit we smelt pretty bad after 3 days travelling! And now we're just trying to decide what we want for dinner and where we shall go for it, and whether we want to hit a bar up later, or have a much needed sleep, aaaahhhh bliss!!!
