Ok, so it has been quite a while, and oh so much has happened!! So in Santorini, we went on a day trip for the first day, saw the volcano, swam in the hot springs, rode a donkey up the steps to Oia, and then drank some rather horrible cheap wine whilst watching the sunset at Oia! So now I'm on Contiki!!! The first day was a travel day, which I spent sleeping as I was rather tired from the lack of sleep and stress of getting to Contiki. We stayed the night at Kavala in Greece, which is a lovely quiet town, with nothing to do, so a fairly quiet nigt was had. The second day we headed to Cannakale in Turkey. WOW!!! We finally made it to Santorini!!! Well after a 50+ hr trip we finally made it from Bari to Santorini. We awoke at 4am to get to the airport for our flight to Athens, only to find out that the company we were flying with lost their license to fly..... not happy!!
