Hi Guys! Sounds like you are truly having the adventure of a lifetime. I'm sure your work over the next couple of months will be so rewarding (though I don't think I could give up hot showers for a couple of days - let alone months, you know me!!) We're back in cold, rainy England & missing the Aussie Summer! Was great to see you both before you set off (sorry I couldn't stay) Best of luck & stay safe. Till we meet again.... Love Maha. P.S. great website!

Hi Aidan and Bron,
Thanks for your best wishes on our engagement! We wish you were both here to help us to celebrate this! I've been thinking ... how about we do a swap and you guys come home to have brunch at Yarra Bend by the river and we head over to Sth America? Just a thought. I read your post card Aidan and I think you have been granted loads more energy and vitality than the average human being and therefore can hike 15 Km's without blinking an eye! It's wonderful to hear that you are both having a great time. Jarrod and I are planning to start our Spanish lessons in February and might be able to go to classes with our neighbour across the road and then we can practice. Apart from this Jarrod has just figured out weather patterns and we have priced a round the world ticket as we think this might be the best and cheapest way to travel for us. Now we are just trying to save our little arses off! I'm getting a little more excited now as it seems a lot closer! I have got into the wedding spirit a bit more now. Planning to try some dresses on in the near future. Other news...Ruby the pup is growing and has started her ideal dog classes and has an assessment at the end of these. She seems to perform extremely well when it's her turn to demonstrate and then when it's her turn to sit well behaved and watch she turns into a mad dog (uncontrollable). I think we have a jeckle and hyde dog!
We will miss your company at our engagement. When do you return? Will you be back for our wedding in Feb 2005? We hope you continue to enjoy your trip and have good health and I'll wite again soon. Take Care...Mel

Great to see your further adventures unfolding guys. We are jealous and impressed that you made it down The Death Road. All is well with us...heading to Brazil by train tonight, the guidebook says it's like an endurance test- should be good. Cheers amigos.
Garth
Missed you at Christmas so Happy New Year. Lee and I are just back from extended wandering in SA.
Got some great stuff. Hans Hysen was a tree hugger. He used to buy gums from the council to stop them being chopped down. His daughter Nora must be among the world's great still life artists. Hysen was brilliant. He said his daughter is better. She is 93 now and still painting. One of his flower paintings is above the mantle in the Cedars at Hahndorf. It is a breath taking rendition of spring flowers. His masters skill shows in the stems of the flowers. They are in a transparent vase, in water with the stems perfectly visible.
Glad to hear you are setting the pack carrying pace Bron. Just think, if you two keep it up you will be earlier risers than Daybreak Thoonen, Love Garth and Lisa

Hello there Chick and Dick.
Just want to wish you both all the very best for xmas while you are away from all of us here who love and miss you lots, and also hate you as well because your over there and where not!!!
Doing pretty well at the present. Ben and I are looking at buying houses at the mo so thats all very grown up of us and I'm also off to Wilsons Promontry in a couple of days for a 5 day trek. Looking forward to getting away for a bit and spending NYE under the stars. Christmas was great this year. The little brother (Nathan) and his wife (Nikki) came home this year from the UK and I also finally got to meet my little 5mth old Nephew....he is sooooooooo cute, have fallen madly in love with him.
Anyway kids behave yourselves and I will be hearing from you both very soon.
Love you both.
Rick
Bronny, I think you started a virus at AAAT firstly yourself, then Elena, Aggie, Steph and now Robin.

Hey again guys! While I get the chance, and before I completely get snowed under in my own travel plans, just wanted to wish you all the best for a fantastic Christmas and a brilliant start to the year ahead! I'm sure it will be very different being away from the families this year, but it will be something to talk about in years to come...u KNOW I am busting to say "something to tell the kids", but u're off the hook on that front while u're away! Keep the pics rolling in and write when u get a chance! Take care and have some adventures for me...i'll do likewise in the US! :-) PT..xx
ps: Will email u the shots from dinner so u can see what pigs we made of ourselves YET AGAIN at Saigon Inn!

Hey Aiden and Bronwyn, thanks for the recomendation on this sight. It is great and I have started one of my own. It is the same as yours except with, you guessed it, shaun instead of bronwyn in the URL. Take care and I'll check in from time to time to see where you are and post you a message. Take care and have fun.
Rick

Received your latest emails. We will respond shortly. Mum was especially chuffed to receive your telephone call so soon after forwarding the email. The aura and majesty of Macchu Piccu coming into vision as the cloud lifted rather heightens the anticipation of the scene. May Bolivia be "bonzer" Lots of luck. ESMAE 'n ROB

Hi B & A, fabby to see all your pictures and as everyone has said, makes you think, damn being sensible with money - leave my job, run away and travel the world!!!! Had dinner with PT, Michele, El, Neil, Jas, Angela and Anh last night - you were sadly missed - but given what you are up to I don't think you will be missing us!!! PT took a photo for you and will post it for you if we can get the technology right. New job is great, and great to have El here. On a less mature note, Traveleague yesterday - and you know how messy that can be. My best wishes for Chrissy and here's to 2004. Have a ball!! Luv Lou
