So the purpose of me going to Kentucky was to see my friend Warren who I grew up with in South Africa. He's there on a swimming scholarship, and seems to be really getting into American life. He even
says a lot of things like an American now which took a little getting use to. I was able to crash on one of his housemates beds while he was away. It was great to
have a bed for a couple of days. Either the first or second night, Wal got a bbq happening in his back yard where I got to meet a bunch of his mates.
Walis also into his RC (radio controlled) toys and has a helicopter which he is working at getting good at. He took me down to the RC store where he's got to know the guy that works there, and he gave us a little demo. He's really good. He was doin all sorts of flips and sweet manouvers.

Warrens girlfriend, Sidney, just got a Chiwawa puppy and its so cute and tiney. He came almost everywhere with us. He came to the movies one night. He's so small that we could just fit him in Sidneys bag to get him in.

Wal also showed me the University of Kentucky campus where he goes, and also had a look at the pool where I guess he spends many much of his time. Its a really nice campus.

Overall it was just great to catch up with Wal again. Hopefully I'll see him again when I make a trip to South Africa. Who knows.
