Well our trip has started off with a bang, Wellington has been great! Grace and I got the ball rolling with a celebratory wine at 10.30am at Invercargill airport Koru lounge. We arrived safely in Welly and were greeted by Grace's mum. After a hello and a quick tour around the Weta workshop, we then said our goodbyes to Ma Patz and dropped her back at the airport for her to fly back to Invers.

Staying at Grace's cousins the Soles in Johnsonville for the night, we decided to cook them dinner to pay our keep before getting an early night in preparation for the chaotic couple of days ahead. Meeting up with Bex and Char Thursday morning we headed to our apartment and got ourselves set up. Thursday night we met up with most of our 22 others 'Marmites' for the traditional pre-sevens byo at a very entertaining asia buffet restaurant.

Friday morning meant it was time for business, starting with breakfast at a bar just round the corner from our apartment...... TO BE CONTINUED..............
