After a restless overnight flight - no sleep, we arrived in gold coast airport in the early hours of the morning very excitted to hear english being spoken as the first language but even more excitted when we went to go through passport control that kiwis and aussies got to bypass the massive line and do all there own passport entry stuff with these fancy new machines! Boom straight through. Out on the other side we grabbed a bite to eat - much expensive than the usual asia meals - something wed have to get use to. Few questions asked, on a bus, a bit of walking, in a taxi we arrived at the boys (friends we were catching up with from home) house. We hit the couch and fell straight asleep. Prydie came round to visit and took us to the beach - beautiful, was a lot colder than asia to begin with but very refreshing. Hit pacific fair for a salad and back to the boys to get ready for DRACULAS!!!!

WE LOVED DRACULAS!!! was an awesome night, we played up to the waiters and waitresses, made great friends with our people at our tables, 2 bottles of wine, shots, being spoon fed by the waiters, sore cheeks from laughing - gutted we couldnt get pictures!!! After an eventful night at dracs we walked/stumbled to the jupiters casino - this place is massive! bumped into one of the waiters from dracs who remembered us as the loud kiwis and who helped us with black jack - despite us loosing 50bux - but had a ball at the same time pretending we were high rollers. Bed was calling as we knew we had dreamworld in the morning...

NEVER GO TO DREAMWORLD THE NIGHT AFTER DRACULAS!!!!! we warn you now!!! After an initial horendous bus trip to the park, a few toilet trips we hit the rides. The giant drop was first - 120m free fall - followed by another toilet trip and some lunch to try settle the tums. We loved the tower of terror - so fast. All in all it turned out to be a great day!
