Our body clocks still haven't quite adjusted to the change of time, or change of season. In New Zealand it was getting dark around 4.30pm-5.00pm and now in America it's around 9.00pm. Which means we are going to bed a lot later and getting up later. This morning we got up at about 9.30am, I got skyping mum and dad while James went downstairs to get a cup of free coffee for each of us. Loved catching up with mum and dad. I got a shower whilst James started to skype Louisa, Neil and the kids, I spoke to them for a little bit before hanging up and packing to check out at midday. After check out we walked over to Denny's Diner to get some breakfast. This breakfast was amazing, I had a sizzler, sausage pieces, tomato, onion, pepper and potatoes with two fried eggs on top. James had eggs and hashbrowns with bacon and then two bluberry pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup. We still haven't organised which way we're going to get to Las Vegas and what we're going to look at on the way. So we decided we still needed a guide book to help us, we found a bookshop on google maps so headed to the mall. We found a Western USA guide book and bought it, we need this and figured we could just sell it when we get home. We sat with a drink and the new book in the mall. Went back to the car where we made plans, we decided on our route which takes us south first before going to see the giant forest with enormous trees. We set the route and set off for a couple of hours drive. We passed through the raisin capital of the world where Sunmaid raisins are grown. We arrived at another Motel 6 and got checked in. I fancied pizza for tea so we asked the girl at check in if there was anywhere she would recommend, eat in or take out. We replied eat in at a restaurant but once we'd thought about it and dumped our things in the room we decided to order a pizza, it was enormous! The biggest pizza I've ever seen, it was really tasty though. All full we watched some TV and got some sleep.
