Well we have finally reached Oz.

We had 3 great days in the luxury in the Pan Pacific hotel, by the harbour. A great hotel which gave us a free upgrade and a complimentary chocolate cake! The honeymoon card still working after almost 6 months!

We flew into Syney last Monday and stayed with my cousin Maeve for a few days. It was great to have a base and we spent our free time flat hunting! It was a steep learning curve and we eventually got a place 2 doors down from Maeve. We are 10 minutes walk from Bondi beach and the place is a good size. However most flats in Sydney come unfurnished which is a bit of a pain. But we've managed to get most things organised. Including a TV for $40 and a sofa for $50!

We met Richard through the week and also met up with Gemma and Jonny from home. The Saturday was spent with them and a crowd of Mave's friends on a pub golf night out. Let just say it was a great way to see a few pubs.

So the next thing to get is a job!! Kim has now got all her paperwork sorted and begins on Monday. I, well I'm on the look out.
