The first leg of our journey has come to a close and I want to say a huge thank you to Uncle Allan and Aunty Faye for taking such good care of us. Yesterday Granny Beryl took us out for a drive around Durban. We went to Moses Mabhida Stadium which was built for the 2010 Football World Cup ©. This weekend we got to experience the violence in South Africa first hand. We witnessed destruction of property, a fight involving a stabbing and multiple drive-by shootings. But apparently it's normal for elephants to pull down trees to eat them, for wildebeest to fight with their horns and for tourists like us to shoot many photos out car windows.
