Summary
Although we were in Albania for less than 12 hours, we both really enjoyed the scenery it provided. We used it as a cheaper way of getting into Greece but the scenery along the coastline was quite dramatic. We drove about 130km's along the coast that consisted mainly of 2000m high mountains dropping straight into the water below. And the water was the colour of what you'd expect in Greece or Croatia. We also found a huge natural spring called 'The Blue Eye' that its about 3m across and 50m deep. The water coming out of this was the cleanest we'd ever seen. The scenery up in the mountains closer to Greece is just as impressive, especially with the tops covered in snow. It would be an amazing place to come and visit during the summer months. It sort of reminded us of Nepal and it would be an amazing place to trek. In total we drove 192k's and we enjoyed every bit of it.
