Ahhh, Kalbarri what a wonderful change of pace. The weather is very nice and warm, it's fantastic! Had to dig out the t-shirts and thongs today! Such a beautiful little town with lots of fantastic beaches. The weather makes it though.
We arrived yesterday but not without a few little challenges along the way. Guy had an interesting encounter with a sign, bollard and the caravan. He did not swing out far enough when in the reception carpark at Anchorage Caravan Park and added a few dents to the caravan. What a way to start our trip! Also the caravan park was full and we had the tiniest spot and very uneven. But we finally got in and got sorted.
Such beautiful sights. Drove around to a lot fo the local rest spots/areas to check out the beaches, cliffs etc. Red Bluff was beautiful but Pot Alley Beach was amazing. Even saw a whale in the distance. The kids love the warm weather and being able to go to different beaches and play by the shores. Lots of sand castles are being created.
We have been meeting some wonderful people at the caravan park. Most have been just so nice and adore the kids. It's been really lovely.
Having a few issues with the distance education program we are on - it's just far too involved and really does not seem relevant to Jessica (too basic). Realising that the on road schooling is much harder than first thought and maybe should have investigated other options.
