Jessica cannot wait to get to Monkey Mia to feed the dolphins. Left Kalbarri on the 4th Sept to spend three nights in Denham/Shark Bay at Blue Dolfin Caravan Park.

Met a lovely couple with 2 young kids at the Blue Dolfin Caravan Park. Guy was in his element when he found 2 fishing buddies - they all went for a night fish. A few fish were caught but unfortunately not by Guy.

We drove the short distance to Monkey Mia to feed and see the dolphins. Unfortunately we only saw them briefly as they went past in the distance and did not return again. Poor Jessica was so dissapointed.

Our second attempt at seeing the dolphins was extremely successful. Arrived a little bit earlier in the morning and there they were by the shore ready to show off and play. Such beautiful creatures. They stayed close to the shore for ages, managed to get some fantastic photos . The kids were picked to hand feed the dolphins and Jessica was really keen, until the dolphin opened it's mouth and showed off it's row of teeth. There was no way that she was going to feed the dolphin after that! So Guy was left to feed it.

When we finished we headed off to the Aquarium to see the fish and shark feeding. Very cool. Some really big fish in the tanks (Guy wished he had his fishing rod!). And the sharks were amazing to see how fast they were and feeding time. Shame these sort of outings are so expensive though...
