Picturesque, and post card perfect are the only ways to describe the Amalfi coastline. Walking out of our B&B to a view of the ocean is a good way to begin any day. We began the day with a short bus ride to the town of Amalfi, which was very small and pretty but at the same time a bit touristic. We managed some great photos before a spur of the moment boat trip to Positano.
Approaching Positano by boat was the best idea we've had this whole trip! Cruising along the Amalfitana coastline with the huge cliffs dotted with multicolored homes and hidden beaches was amazing and definitely a great way to view this coastline.
Positano is one beautiful little city with all the different coloured buildings built into the cliffs and going in by ferry just made our first impressions that little bit more amazing! After arriving and jumping off the ferry we went up through all the little windy streets and explored this city before finding a little cafe and having lunch. After lunch we (Bec) bought a little painting of Positano and headed for the beach to cool off. The beach was very refreshing and a nice way to spend the afternoon looking up at Positano from the water.
After a few good hours in the sun and water we headed back in the early evening and then enjoyed a yummy dinner of real Italian pizza overlooking the water from high above, what a great end to a beautiful day!
