Just a short trip today 100kms to Katherine,we are just here to fuel up, get groceries and then we are off in the morning to tumbling Waters at Berry Springs for a week of R&R. There is not much to do in Katherine as we have done it all before, we had a quick swim in the hot springs, but it is not a town that you wander around in, so we are just relaxing in the van and having swims in the pool as it is 35 today.

Only 150kms today and we are staying at Mataranka, what a fantastic spot, the hot springs are wonderful, I could swim in them all day,we are staying here for a couple of days which will be great. I am having issues with my wifi, the actual unit is getting red hot and I keep having to turn it off so it might be a trip to a telstra shop when we get to Darwin.

Only a short trip today took us to the Daly Waters Pub, what a fantastic little place in the middle of nowhere. We had live entertainment and barra for tea as well a couple of dips in their pool to cool down, just lovely.

We travelled from alice springs to the devils marbles today, and this will be our first free camp. It is lovely out here and everyone is so friendly, I have taken heaps do pics so I hope they turn out. The one I am posting is not mine as I am having trouble with my wifim,so this is a cheats pic.

We travelled from Uluru to Alice Springs today, only 470kms so not too bad today. We have noticed an absence of trucks on the highway, we have hardly struck any, maybe everything is going by train now if going by the length of the trains we saw at Port Augusta are anything to go by. There are hundreds of bikes up here at the moment as it is the Ulysses club AGM, but I think a lot of them are staying at the showgrounds as the caravan park is still pretty quiet. ...
