arrived after 11 hr train ride from bangkok, which went smooth enough. the hostel is better than we imagined . chaing mai is so nice after bangkok , the night bazaar is worth a visit and you can pick up a bargin. there are so many things to do loads of tours , temples etc. did the jungle/ elepant ride/ bamboo rafting . it was well worth it as even though it is a tourist thing to do , it isn't spoilt and you really get to see the country. if you come to thailand you have to come to the area and experience the way things are!
