our accom is about an hour out of Rome on a camp site. the weather is stunning and for a couple days we are kicking back and chillin by the pool, the site is nice the people friendly. we did the collosium which was huge and you can look and see what it must have been like in the day. we then looked at all the various ruins and you really get a feel for what it was like! next day we went to the vatican, even if your not religous it something you should see, blew me away . best bit so far!! the weather has been perfect and has helped us chill right out. Rome as a city seems friendly [ for a city ] even out in the sticks people r willin to do anything to help! we extended r stay to 6 days because we r enjoyin it . 12 hours to nice next.
