The morning drizzle means there is no view of Fujisan today, but it also makes for a beautiful misty mountain morning - every cloud... Today is Boo's birthday eve, we're back moving again today heading to Mishima station then on to Tokyo Disneyland.
Down by the lake we found the best manhole ever with an imprint of Fujisan on it. This Shinkansen back to Tokyo was a toasty relief from the chilly gusty train station. We left the Shinkansen platforms and headed down to the JR Lines - BOOM Tokyo Station peak hour, except it's 2pm, hate to be here at 8am. It feels like we just got pushed on stage in some ridiculously fast paced mega dance routine - it's a frenetic pace, not chaos - impressive.
It's only 15 minutes from Tokyo station to the Disney station. If the girls were excited before, they're positively bursting with excitement now. We're out of the JR Line and straight to the monorail station for check-in. The rain has really set in, but this afternoon we've got special indoor plans anyway...
We were too excited to keep it a surprise, so for the last few months, we've been building our buzz about our room. We've booked the Beauty & The Beast suite. Boo has convinced us she has to go first.
It's impossible to tell which one of my two princesses is most excited, Emerson is beaming, Gab is wiping tears away from her cheeks. Even Fid is getting into it. Our only activity for the afternoon is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Boo's first ever go at this was almost exactly 5 years ago for her 6th Birthday.
They put makeup on her, but she didn't need it - she was beaming from ear to ear the whole time. The hotel's grand foyer was the perfect backdrop for her to go styling around in her new gown all done up. We headed off in the rain to look for dinner - or at least I thought so, the girls were actually leading us on a shopping tour - "Oh look at that", "Ohh I've always needed these"... Eventually with the shopping done Boo got right into princess character, apparently since it's her Birthday tomorrow she needs to chose where we eat tonight - TGIF because she wants American food because we're in Disneyland.
Still too buzzy to sleep we're home again and trying to convince each other to go to sleep, tomorrow is Birthday in the park but the biggest drama tonight is how to sleep without ruining that fan bun on her head.

Karin Memories in the making, love the way you go all in and enjoy!
aurisch Thanks Karin, some coincidence - Boo was asking us where we would visit again the other day. She didn't care about our answers - but told us "Paris, no Tokyo, no wait, Karin's farmhouse then Tokyo"
