AWESOME! It's a few decades since I've been to a Disneyland, totally forgot how fantastic they are. Everything is magic in pristine condition. We hadn't even made it to the gates before we were struck by it - we all sat around staring at the fountain on the walkway, Micky riding a surfboard on Moby's waterspout. It just got better and better from there.

First ride was Space Mountain (5 minute wait) Max freaked himself out and Emerson wanted to go again. That was probably the biggest ride of the day, everything else was tame after that. All of the lands were great, but for kids out age ToyStory land had to win. The Slinky ride had them most excited while the parachute drop built up the trepeditation.

Nothing could be as spectacular as that nightly fireworks though over the castle. All four of us were stuck mesmerised by the show.

If you've ever thought about taking the kids go - completely western friendly, everyone fawned over the kids, especially Emerson. Cast members and other vistors alike all either wanted to keep giving her stickers or take photos of her. She was suitably ashamed of the attention :)
