We went for a short little getaway to celebrate our anniversay. We took over the Great lakes Express which goes from Muskegon to Milwaukee. Unfortunately, about halfway through the boat ride, an engine blew. Not knowing what was going on, all the passengers, including us, were a bit concerned as we floated in the middle of Lake Michigan going in circles with no land in sight. So the boat ride ended up taking a little longer than expected, but we finally made it. Honestly, there wasn't a whole heck of a lot to do in Milwaukee, not as much as we would have hoped for. But of course, we made the best of it. We went to the art museum which was pretty neat. The outside walls open and close every so often like a butterfly. We also went to German fest and the casino as well.
