This was our first vacation to a non-tropical/warm sunny location. We decided to do something different and try our hand at skiing. It ended up being one of the most fun vacations. Initially, we had planned on skiing all day every day. We soon came to realize however that was not possible. Skiing is a lot of work! By 1:00 or 2:00 every day we were physically exhausted, legs quivering and all. The first day I recallt he temp was in the single digits. And standing on top of the mountain with nothing to block the wind, it gets cold pretty quick. There was a TON of snow the first day we were there. We managed to ski every day though, from Vail to Beaver Creek. I can't recallt the name of the restaurant, but we had an incredible fajita dinner, where somehow, due to miscommunication, we ended up sliding out of there without paying the bill. But the next night we went back (it was that good) and sqaured up with them.
