Had a fairly chilled out day, and took a walk around the Botanical Gardens by the Opera House. We thought about having a tour around but it was rather expensive and looked extremely touristy. Getting close to the Opera house it defiantly doesn't look as impressive. The tiles that make up the outside looked more of a dingy yellow, and the structure was just concrete, as was the inside. So it was time to leave Canberra and head up to the most iconic City in Australia, Sydney. Before we got on our way to city there was one more thing I wanted to see in the Canberra area which was a Nasa Deep Space Communication Satellite complex which held the largest dish in the southern hemisphere, it was very cool to see. It was nice to be back in Melbourne, catch up with our friends Richard and Ginie from the Royal Mail hotel. We went to the Bar at Vue Du Monde which sits on the top floor of a skyscraper overlooking the beautiful lit up city of Melbourne.
