The bus ride to Mostar is very scenic. We follow the coast south for about 2 hours before heading inland. It was a long day in the bus, About 8 hours in total. Had to take one bus to Zagreb, then another to Split. The first bus was 40 minutes late, so this only gave me 5 minutes to connect to the next bus. made it with 2 minutes to spare. I hate it when this happens, causes me to get anxious. My ride into Austria is by a mini bus. There are no buses that do this route, so you get a mini bus which is shared with others going in a similar direction. I had to share with some Chinese going to Obertraun. The journey was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of green scenery along the way.
