To get to Riga i travel by bus. The bus is very nice and comfortable, and full. The drive is very pleasant through the countryside. Its lovely and green. The ferry to Tallinn is packed with people. I manage to lug all my luggage to the top deck to sit and watch the voyage across the Baltic sea. Lucky its a calm day and the ship is not rolling around. I arrived into Helsinki to a cool, cloudy day. It takes me an hour or so to get from the airport to my accommodation. I am staying in an apartment with a lady called Johanna. Today doesnt start off that well. The shower in Fionas place failed to work this morning, so no shower. No big deal, so i dress and head to the bus station for the airport. Just as i leave the flat it buckets down with rain. Umbrella is packed away, so i manage to find shelter even if i am rather wet.
