29th I am surprised at what I see when I open the window shutters. It is snowing quite heavily, and must have snowed a lot during the night as everything is white. In a way I was hoping for a day of snow so I can get some more pictures of the city and sights. It is just a pity it happens on the day I leave. 22rd Spent the morning riding the trams to various sights and shopping malls. I ended up on the Buda side around lunch time and after spending a short time in a shipping mall i felt a little hungry. 17th Its off to Budapest today by train. The 3 hour journey takes you across the plains of Hungary. Lots of farmland, very old villages and very old infrastructure. 12th I will be sad to leave Interlaken. It offered so much scenery in a small accessible part of Switzerland. My train leaves at 10am and i am taking the same scenic route i came in. 10th Well my luck ran out with blue sky. I opened the blinds to see nothing but cloud. Could not even see the top of the mountain next to my chalet, the cloud was very low.
