5th Not much sleep last night. Its hot, humid and noisy. We attempt to try and work out the bus service here in Rio, and it's a nightmare. The decision is made to catch a bus to the ferry terminal and take the ferry across Guanabara Bay to Centro. Guanabara Bay is very polluted, and would not think of swimming in the water, its brown. 30th Today we head into the old City. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, and is 10 times better than the system they have in Bogota. The buses are better and so is the ride. We arrive at the centro station and find our way to the Plaza De Armas. This is without a doubt the nicest Plaza yet. The old historical buildings are architecturally beautiful.
