After our nice 14 hour train journey we arrived in Shanghai. Our first stop was the Bund - A famous street along the Huang Pu River where a lot of trading took place. We walked along the Bund to Yuyuan gardens and Bazaar and experienced many street markets and a lot of bad Chinese singing! Then out for dinner at the top of the Oriental Pearl Sky Tower revolving restaurant. After visiting the tower we decided to go for one final drink on our way home. We spotted a nice little Karaoke bar opposite our hotel (or so we thought!) After walking through the door we realised there were loads of gorgeous women and no men except for two naive travellers, we had to have a drink and hoped none of them would drag us into another room!!!
