Off we set at 8.45 on our 3 month trip up through NSW and beyond. We set off under grey wet chilly skies towards our first stop Daysleford for breaky.
First decision by me was to choose a lovely cosy log fired boutique cafe where quality and freshness out stood the quick takeaway Stroudie was after. This was settled by the bakery in town and once more under grey skies we are off again. Caravan is towing well but the noise from the back of the car from foam boxes rubbing sounds like a box of baby budgies squaking so we needed to stop this ASAP.
We decided to move onwards to Tocumwal and drove thru some lovely autumn viewings of red and yellow falling leaves, dairy herds sunnying themselves, hydroponic tomatoes sheds and good old favorite Ardmona feilds of fruits and walnuts. The sun is shinning and a warm temp of 16C.
Arrive at caravan site were we are warmly greeted by Carol the owner who gave us the lowdown on the town and of course the pubs and best golf course. Now let the fun being.....
Stroudie has his first major meltdown, loud mutterings under his breathe, hands failing in the air, questions he says to me that I am thinking he is talking some sort of techno jargan that I can't help with (the first of a few ) his long awaited set up of the satalite dish/tv thingy is not happening. why Why WHY the hell its not working he calls out, the suggestion to call someone is taken and makes a call to find out that the satalite is not working and so everyone has the same problem!!!! Never mind love things will get better (my fingers and feet are all crossed). Theres a few other things to sort out until I get the words iIlove to hear, OK love lets go out to the pub for a drink and dinner.
We dined at Kellys Pub which had good food and fun was had by bothofus, and we walked home to our comfy little van called Destiny to sleep away the first day good night
Ok people i hear you, "is she going to write this much everyday?" in one word NO ..................................just sometimes!!!!

John Kirwin What a lovely blog, Susie, we could picture it all. We'll be following you on the map and hope you have a great adventure. Normally I'd say why would you want to have TV on such a journey, but I guess Stroudy wants to keep up with Australia's cricketers here in England (or perhaps not).
