Well, my first blog entry...............with 2 days to go before our flight on Thursday 4th March at 2200, excitement is definately getting the better of me! Spending the day sorting paperwork and relevant packing- (i have to say it is very hard fitting your life for three months into one rucksack..........this coming from the girl who packs 8 pairs of shoes for a 7 day holiday, and a different bikini for everyday!) before heading out to leaving drinks with my friends tonight, I am finally starting to feel a little more organised.

Anyway, with everything beginning to fall into place- and our first glitch of our Fiji to L.A. flight being cancelled and rearranged sorted- i think i am near enough ready to go.

So thursday, after saying our goodbyes, we fly from London Heathrow to Dubai where we pick up a connecting flight to Brisbane and the another flight to Cairns, which will be our first destination. This is where the real adventure begins.........and I cannot wait!

The next time you hear from me, we will have arrived and started the greatest adventure of our lives!
