My last day in Cyprus:( Today I drove to Nicosia/ Lefkosia ... Whichever you'd like to call it. This morning it was shopping followed by kebab and tabouli in a local cafe. Walked around the Venetian ramparts that border the old city. This afternoon I visited the Museum of Cyprus. Beautiful statue of Aphrodite that I loved. Then it was more shopping, and I also walked to the border ("green line" as it's known here) to see where Turkish Cyprus meets Greek Cyprus. ...

Today was a fairly slow day. Took my time leaving Polis. I really enjoyed that town... Would highly recommend. Anyway, was driving down the highway still debating where to head to next. With only a couple of days left in Cyprus I though I might like to spend it relaxing on the beach. So headed back to Agia Napa. Spent an hour or so walking around the town but couldn't find any available accommodation in my price range. So am now back down the road at Larnaka. To...

So today it was off further into the Akamis national park to do the 6km Smities walk. Very nice, and not nearly as hard as the one yesterday. Then it was lunch down by the beachside near Aphrodites baths. In the afternoon I took a drive to cape Aspro and Agios Georgios. Idyllic scenery. A good day overall:)

Today was the driving day to end all driving days. I really bit off more than I could chew. Left Limassol early with the intention of heading up into the Troodos mountain area where I was hoping to do some bushwalking for the next couple of days.
