Time for this term's music curriculum.... We cycled into Salzburg along the river for a very quick look around, some pastries for lunch, a music concert, some giggling, Mozart's birthplace, a posh Spar, a secret supermarket and a very wet cycle home....

We got up and went to the Adria factory. We met lots of nice people who were interested in what we were doing. Firstly, we went into where they stored things and I thought it looked like IKEA. After that, we saw the production lines. They were amazing. There was one for vans, one for motorhomes, one for Sonics and one for caravans. We headed to Ljubljana castle this morning for a time travelling tour.... starting with the Romans via George slaying the dragon to Napoleon, women prisoners in the castle and recent history... we walked through a fascinating tour of Slovenian and Ljubljana history in the castle that has a chapel named after St George - as he slayed the dragon here in Ljubljana, according to local legend. We were picked up at our campsite and then driven 20 minutes into the forest where we met our guide and fellow rafters (5 exchange students from Singapore). Tracy was expecting a rafting-centre building to get changed in but were told to go into the woods instead! After carrying the raft to the water's edge, we all jumped in the boat and set-off on our 10K adventure down the river. The children were at the front and loving getting wet as we hit the rapids...
