We came to Pisac to see the Kichwa who come down from nearby pueblos for Sunday mass. All dressed in their traditional clothes, it was something a photographer simply can't let herself miss. And to add to that, it's Sunday market--something that draws tourists by the busloads.
Since we'd already been to the ruins up the mountainside, we spent the day submerged in the colors of the Kichwa.

bobnkaren You would LOVE this place. The narrow cart path resting on an ancient Inca terrace is just the beginning...the place was hewn out of the mountain by Cecilia's (the owner) brother and it's been a family's love child ever since. I even got a thank you email from her for my review on tripadvisor. Cool place & neat lady.
