Tuesday 8th MarchCaught flight up from Christchurch on a bright day so got some great views of North Island coming into land in Auckland. Picked up the hire car at the airport. Noticed the difference from Christchurch straight away as we sat in traffic jams for 30 minutes on our way to the hotel. Friday 4th March. Up at 0500 for the flight to Christchurch. Got to the car with the luggage and guess what, flat tyre, so Bob spent the first 30 minutes of the day changing the tyre. That put us 30 mins behind schedule , so by the time we got to Brisbane Airport, checked in, through security and to the gate the flight was boarding.
