6.30am start, breakfast and then a PAS Boat into Stanley. Plan to spend the day commemorating lost friends and colleagues from the Falklands War. Don Pryce and Adrian Onslow who lost their lives on the Atlantic Conveyor and Doc Love and Ben Casey who lost their lives as Aircrewmen in the back of 846 Squadron MK IV Sea Kings. Ashore on the first tender at 0730 and met by Gerald Cheek our guide for the day. First stop to place a cross on behalf of Shirley Hemming at her son Graeme’s grave. This achieved it was off to Fitzroy cove to pay homage to all the Welsh Guards who lost their lives there.
