Minneapolis is beautiful in the summer, but we got the impression it was not the same in winter. Made the short drive to Badlands NP via the Wall Drug Store which is a tourist attraction in the middle of nowhere. Badlands is strange as most of the North is very green, ecspecially around Badlands but the park itself is like shallow canyons and rocks. It was once a sea.
