Early start justifying yesterday's chill day.
Drive an hour south to Kuranda took the Skyrail through the rainforest canopy.. With stop offs on the way.
Then took the Kuranda Scenic Railway originally used to service the 'goldrush' back down the hill through the mountains and back to Freshwater ..
Have to say the Aussies do outdoor activities and nature adventures to a very high standard ..

Should add that we visited the butterfly enclosure where Felix and Oscar cuddled a Koala... Fed kangaroos once we caught them, saw snakes.. Although one nearly escaped..birdworld had us feeding a parrot and many others ..
