Lonely Beach Resort

Contrary to the name this is supposed to be the resort for backpackers and is one of the livelier areas to the island. We woke up this morning, late again, and loaded up with our backpacks. We flagged a minivan down and transferred 10-15mins to Lonely Beach...further south on the island. It was sweltering heat but a very scenic route in the van as it climbed the hillside. As we reached the top it gave us panoramic views of the coast line and tropical looking hills with mist hanging over them.

We got dropped off at Ploy Inn and quickly viewed the room to check it was ok. This room was actually a bit larger than last night at a cost of 15p more!!

We got rid of our bags and headed off for breakie and then down to the beach. We all enjoyed a dip in the sea which was lovely and warm. All we seem to have done today ist is eat and sunbathe!
