27th APRIL 2005 - CHIANG MAI CONTINUED Woke up late and a little hung over to say the least! Had to quickly get ready for our elephant trip. We drove out to the hills to be greeted by about 30 elephants, all washing in the river. Our ride for the day was an elephant called Keown. 24th April 2005 - BANGKOK CONTINUED Hi all! Time to move hotels and so we leave the air conditioning behind and make our way to the Wild Orchid. Only 5 minute walk that seemed like an hour!!! We paid 50 baht less than the New Siam II for a suite!!! Wanted to see some thai boxing, but tickets were surprisingly over budget.
