WEDNESDAY 15TH JUNE 2005 - DEPART CAIRNS FOR TOWNSVILLE. Today is a sad day. I think Sig even had a tear in his eye as we left the luxurious dorm that had been our home for 5 nights. we said goodbye to a sleepy Susan and Jiny. Then the lovely people at the Asylum gave us a lift down to the Greyhound Bus Station. It was liek saying goodbye to family, honestly. The staff had made us feel so welcome. They even gave us big hugs and kisses when they waved us off....

14th June Cairns Australia Hello again from Auz! Well we just managed to avoid the Indonesian detention center only to find the Asylum in Australia. (It's a hostel in Cairns but I have my suspicions that it was ACTUALLY an Asylum long before it was a backpackers!) We arrived on the 3rd flying into Darwin then straight onto Cairns. 3rd June 2005 - CAIRNS WE MADE IT!!!!!!!! Hired a camper van for 5 days and are off exploring tomorrow. Plan to go up to Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, Karunda and the reef! 31st May 2005 - JAKARTA Due to our own stupidity our day is now devoted to visiting the Indonesian Immigration Office. All we need to do is get an extention on our visa's according to Priscilla, this should be a fairly simple procedure.
