So we made it to Thailand!!

It took ages to get through passport control but we got there eventually, people are jumping on you as soon as you walk through shouting taxi blah blah blah. We just wanted to get to Patong then we were going to just walk up and down and see where we could find but he took us to somewhere as he didn't want to just drop us in town (think they get a percentage or something.) Paul booked us a room and it was quite nice really, out of the way which in Patong is a good thing!!! It's mental here, so many people, massage, tuk tuk, taxi, dvd, suits, very annoying!!! you have to just switch off or it would drive you insane. We just had a walk around, got on the internet, got a phone card to ring Tom he was on the next beach south Katong. He said he would book us a rom we said we'd see him tomorrow. We had a Thai meal OMG Thai Green Curry out here is sooooooo spicey!!!!! It nearly blew my head off, I had to fish out the chicken and eat it with plain rice!!

We got a taxi early in the morning to where Tom was staying (well we got on the back of some van.) Tom only went and booked last night for us so we have no room to stay in. We eventually found him in room 12 he had to move to room 11. We had breakfast where you pick 5 things off the menu and you only pay 100 baht (that's like 2 quid!! I would use the pound sign if there was one on this keyboard but there ain't and there is loads of extra thai characters on the keys!!!) We dumped our stuff in Toms room and tried to find a room which we found a little further up the road. We then hit the beach, tres nice, the weather is amazing here!! We headed for some dinner or late lunch then we went back to our rooms for abit, got ready to go out. We headed back to Patong only 400 baht in a tuk tuk. We checked out the ladee boys, I had my pic taken with them then they demanded money, I had none!! They are scary!! We were going to watch a show with them in but no one else was in there and it was a little freaky so we left, then we were going to watch one of those ping pong shows, we walked in, drink were like a tenna ago so we walked out of there too (these rooms are really small and it's all so seedy!!) We headed to the bar Tom has been going to and we had such a laugh with the girls that work there, Tom plays them at dice for double or nothing on the bill he keeps winning so free drinks!! We did a shot of tequila which i nearly boffed up on the bar so Paul was doing mine from then on, after about 12 shots he was oblitorated to say the least!!! They love playing connect 4 out here and you can play them for shots. We also played the wierdest game of jenga ever, well hard!! We left, got a maccy d's then got a tuk tuk home. Paul only went and left his bank card in the machine so we had to ring up this morning and cancel that luckily he has another card with him he can use, NUM NUT!!!

We got up and headed to Toms, had breakfast, hit the beach, and here I am now writing to you guys. We should be going for dinner soon, the food here is cheap, especially if you go for local food, everywhere here does seafood, they have all the fish on a stall out the front of the resteraunts, the smell makes me feel sick everytime I walk past!! Oh reminds me we were just leaving the beach and a fish washed up, the sort you would see on a reef or something, I called Paul over and he picked it up to put it back in the sea, then it washed up again and ERGH it was gross it had loads of organs or something were hanging out of it's gill ERGH so we left it and thought the poor little fellas time was up. On that note guys!!! Hope everyone is well and that the snow is starting to melt so you can all carry on with your normal lives.
