Hey everyone, ive finally managed to wrestle shell away from the blog just long enough for me to have a say!!

So we didint get a car in the end, it was far more expensive than we were first quoted so we decided to fly to vegas instead! unfortunately we flew in the morning so we didnt get to see the lights of the strip from the air!

We ended up staying in a motel which was cheap and nasty but in a great location, the first thing we saw when we looked out the window was the MGM Grand! we waited until it got dark and then we set off down the strip. Ive seen the bright lights of vegas once before but it never loses that wow factor!!

We took a slow stroll down until we reached the Bellagio, the timimg was perfect as the dancing water fountains were just starting, they were amazing and we stood there watching for about 30 mins!!

After that we decided to go to Cesars Palace and have a look around, the place is absoloutley huge, of course shell made a b line for all of the expensive shops.....jimmy choo, versace, d+g, all of the places we could never afford!! The place is like a maze and exits are not well sign posted, it took about 45 mins to finally get out of there! any way all good fun!!

On the way back to the motel we stopped at the fountains again, the show was just as good but this time was slightly ruined by some very annoying, over excited whooping and holering yanks!

All in all, we had walked for about 3 and a half hours non stop, had a great time then headed back to the motel as we had a disgustingly early start the next day for the grand canyon, up at 5.45, thought id left that time back in the uk!!!
