Hello everyone!

We arrived safe and sound after a problem free journey! The flights were on time and our bags were the first through! Thank god! We caught a taxi to Bangkok and found our pre booked hotel easily. It's lovely and in a great location, it's a bit pricey but we can't bring ourselves to find a new place in this heat and we get free breakfast! Last night we went to our favourite restaurant and had our favourite meals (me chicken and cashew nuts and rach had sweet and sour chicken). We had a beer and resisted the urge to buy everything we saw on our way back to the hotel!
Sleeping was quite a trauma as we were over tired, hot and the noises we heard were wierd and unsettling! Then there was a massive thunder storm at about 5am that woke us up and we thought there would be a river outside our hotel when we got outside but you can't even tell it rained!
This morning we got up late had our free breakfast and i bought soem fisherman pants at the first place we came to! They are nice and red and i regretted not buying any last time! We are in our favourite internet cafe atm where they bring you free water and it's dead cheap and the connection is quick! Woop. Meeting Becky and Mike tongiht so I am super excited to get a big sister hug after 4 weeks!
Probably off to the floating market and the Grand Palace tomorrow and then off to the islands to chillax! Will update soon...
