NEW ZEALAND - SECOND LEG!!!

So, after having a great time in bangkok the 2nd time around we found ourselves at the airport faced with yet another 2hr delay.. we found ourselves in a gloom as it hit home we weren't actually gona get a mummy hug at the end of our flight but off to another country.. however as soon as we got on our emirates plane and saw our entertainment systems we all choose to watch hairspray and suddenly we were back to the deliriously cheery faces we have become accoustomed to!!!

The flight was great and the change at sydney was a piece of cake none of our bags got lost so everything was SWEET!!! we came out of the airport to a lovely 26 degrees and found the queue for the aiport shuttle bus.. miekes bought a sim card and within 5 mins we were set up with a penthouse apartment with views of the sky tower and auckland harbour bridge!! FOR FREE!!!! Gemma is a legend!! it had 2 onsueit rooms with a cat as well!! so our 1st night in auckland consisted of subway, quickly booking our kiwi experience tickets and straight to bed!! duck down duvets and quilts woop woop!! amazing.

the next day we were so chilled we were practically horizontal. we strolled down to the centre after having a bath!!! found that nz is extremely expensive and we wish we'd bought our toilettries in thailand. anyway then we went back to the apartment wrote in our diaries, did our laundry for free! then watched dirty dancing!! yey. when gem finished work she came round and somehow it was 7pm so we walked sdonw to the shop bought red wine and takeaways and then went back to the apartment and showed her all our fotos... we cannot stress how thankful we are to you gem!!! we were all in bed by 11pm then up this morning at 6am (people were still outside the bar down the road) for our kiwi experience..
