For the second day running Paul and Andrea were up before six so madly did an hour stint in the gym before 7.30am!!!! Oddly enough Pam and Jill opted for a small lay in and we all had breakfast a bit later at 8am.
Its labour day here today so again nothing was open until later in the day (if at all) so we decided to visit the shopping mall for an hour or so. Paul bought himself some new skate shoes (he needs them for all that skating he does on the Coldean mean streets) in possibly the best shop he's ever been in! with any purchase comes a free beer!)
Paul and Andrea went to a Blue Jays baseball game for a couple of hours but sadly it was pretty eventful with only two exciting moments!!! They managed to pick a 0-0 game on possibly the coldest day of season. Beers were £7.50 a pint so they couldn't even get drunk to maintain interest and keep warm! Impressive stadium tho and had some banter with a stereotypical fat yank/canadian sat next to Andrea.
Pam and Jill opted to visit lake Ontario, where they had some cocktails and chips while watching an air show that was taking place over the city.
For the evening we went to the CN Tower for dinner in the revolving restaurant. Unbelievable views from the top and they also have a glass floor which is a strange experience. Meal was pretty average. Pam and Jill had salmon, Andrea some vegie dish and Paul had a lump of fat that had been billed as steak, at £30, tho it was top quality fat! Advice for future travellers, definitely go up the tower, it is an amazing experience, don't bother with restaurant tho, really overpriced.
