Today was our last day at Xi'an so we only went to the city's drum and bell tower. It costs 35 yuan each or you can get a double for 50 yuan. They were both good as they do shows and you can walk around the second level balcony which over looks the central city and you can see all the city's gates fen each direction. It is also good to see how the city has had to adapt and creat a road system around both the bell and drum tower. It was a lovely couple of hour...

Today we went to explore the local history museum and the big wild goose pagoda. First was the history museum which was really good first of all due to the fact that we were able to get in for free as all you do is show your passport and they give you your ticket. Second day in Xi'an and we went to walk the Xi'an city wall which is really good, especially on a nice day. Cost 54 yuan (£5.50 ish) and you can hire bikes which cost 40 yuan (£4.00 ish) but you do have to put a deposit down for each bike that you hire for 300 yuan (£36 ish) which you get back when you return the bike. First day in Xi'an we took a trip to the terracotta worriers which is fantastic! Well worth the 150 yuan (£18 ish) and the 8 yuan (£0.72p ish) bus fare. If u ever want to go the bus fare you catch from Xi'an train station, you don't need to que as that is for the free bus, you need to look for the bus drivers with blue shirts on and a dark blue shoulder strips, and they will get you there.
